Boston Citywalks met The Giant Squirrel and The Bird by Okuda San Miguel, one of 7 sculpture of the public art project Air, Sea, Land. They are all on the median lane of the Seaport Boulevard in South Boston, all colorful and all by this artist.

This area was mainly parking lots and empty industrial buildings for years. Now, it is the trendiest part of Boston, with shops, restaurants, walking paths, and futuristic architecture. 

To explore it, follow Walk in Boston # 8, the trendy Fort Point Seaport District, a self-guided tour revised in March 2019 to keep up with the evolution of the neighborhood. It will lead you to the Institute of Contemporary Art and the Children Museum. Along the Harborwalk, you'll have superb views of the harbor and the Financial District.

Promenades à Boston a rencontré L'écureuil géant et l'oiseau par Okuda San Miguel, une des 7 sculptures du project d'art public Air, Mer, Terre. Installées sur la bande médiane du Seaport Boulevard dans South Boston, elles sont  toutes colorées et toutes par du même artiste.

Cette partie de Boston n'a été principalement que des parkings et des batiments industriels vides pendant des années. C'est maintenant l'endroit le plus à la mode de la ville avec des magasins, des restaurants, des passages pietonniers et de l'architecture futuriste.

Pour l'explorer, suivez Promenade à Boston numéro 8, Fortpoint et Seaport, 2 quartiers banchés, un tour guidé révisé en mars 2019 pour tenir compte de l'évolution du quartier. Il vous emménera à l'Institut d'Art Contemporain et le musée des enfants. Le long du Harborwalk, vous aurez de superbes vues du port et du quartier des finances.

Flushing Meadows Corona Park (texte en français ci-dessous) Until the beginning of the 20th century, Flushing Meadows Corona Park existed only in the form of marshland, as its current name still suggests. Open to the public in March 2019, it is made of interconnected stairs on 16 floors; its platforms overlook the skyscrapers that have also emerged in this place at about the same time, and on the Hudson River in the distance, behind the subway depot that gives its name to the place. Its particular shape has also made it compared to a M. C. Escher drawing and it's the creation of British designer Thomas Heatherwick. Its metal pieces have been built in Italy. At the beginning, entry was free as long as you had a reserved time slot, then it was closed following some suicides, and then it reopened with new rules that didn't prevent another suicide. Otherwise, you take the Charlestown Bridge back and you arrive next to North Station. Located in the Seaport District, opened a little over a year ago, it hosts the greatest specialists in international electro dance.   Monday, June 6, it was the turn of Frank Walker and Felix Cartal to be at the mixer, each with his own energy and sound.  The sound system is impressive, loud but clear; the light shows are the most elaborate of Boston; the colorful visuals projected on two adjacent walls still transform the atmosphere.  If you especially want to dance and see your favorite DJs, you will probably regret that the dance floor is small and that most of the space is composed of VIP tables. Le Temps des amours IV, 2nd ed (the time of love IV, 2nd ed) A l'orée du bois (at the wood's edge) (texte en français ci-dessous) Most of my larger prints are now on ldart.work . "A l'orée du bois", is a hand colored linocut I made in 2000, and re-printed in 2011. For the 2nd edition, I kept the same colors but less of them, and I cut the block on the left side to make it a 6x16"image instead of the 6x16.5" it was before. I wanted this print to look like some of the cave painting you see in the South West of France. "Le temps des amours IV" is also a linocut and also a second edition but this time, I didn't change anything except the paper! I created the 1st edition in 1987, and it was part of a series of four 12.5x13" linocuts with four different pairs of animals in different stages of courtship (you can see all of them on the 1984-1990 prints page ).  The paper was different because I had bought it in France i...
