A gallery well worth a visit in the very New England city of Andover, at the more than prestigious Phillips Academy. It's at about 20 miles from Boston.

Small museum is a better name to describe this place full of American Art masterpieces on 3 floors in about 6 galleries. Some  are very unusual like its superb collection of models American ships, some are cutting edge. There's also an extensive collection of photographs shown on a rotating basis in thematic exhibitions. All of that for the education of students, of course, but also for the general public.

Une galerie qui vaut une visite dans la très Nouvelle Angleterre ville de Andover et à la plus que prestigieuse Phillips Academy. C'est à environ 30 km de Boston.

 Petit musée est un nom plus adéquat pour décrire cet endroit rempli de chef d'oeuvres de l'art américain sur 3 étages et dans environ 6 galeries. Certaines sont très inhabituelles comme sa superbe collections de modèles de bateaux américains, d'autres sont à l'avant-garde. Il y a aussi une grande collections de photos en rotation lors d'expositions thématiques, Le tout pour l'éducation des élèves, bien sûr, mais aussi destiné au grand public.

Open to the public in March 2019, it is made of interconnected stairs on 16 floors; its platforms overlook the skyscrapers that have also emerged in this place at about the same time, and on the Hudson River in the distance, behind the subway depot that gives its name to the place. Otherwise, you take the Charlestown Bridge back and you arrive next to North Station.
