First it was John Debo, a long time Bostonian DJ now based in Orlando; then the master and legend John Digweed from England.

The first warmed up nicely a packed room with his unique blend of modular tech; the second brought to Bijou his flawless set of tech house that gained him a 1st place on the annual DJ mag top 100 a few years ago; all for an electrifying night of dance.

Bijou is in the Theater District, not far from Chinatown and on Stuart Street. It can accommodate about 650 people in what was The Bijou Theater in 1882. It's now a chic and futuristic nightclub with super sound and amazing lightning.

If you take Walk in Boston # 9 , turn left instead of right when you reach Washington St; it will lead you to Stuart St. and Bijou will be somewhere further on your right.

D'abord ça a été John Debo, un DJ longtemps bostonien mais maintenant basé à Orlando; puis le maître et légende John Digweed, basé au Royaume-Unis.

 Le premier a chauffé une salle comble avec son mélange unique de techno modulaire; le second a apporté à Bijou un show parfait de techno house qui lui a valu une première place au classement de DJ Mag il y a quelques années; le tout pour une nuit de danse électrifiante. 

 Bijou est dans le Theater District pas loin de Chinatown et sur Stuart St. L'endroit acceuille environ 650 personnes dans ce qui était en 1882 le théâtre Bijou. C'est maintenant un night club chic et futuriste avec une super sono et des jeux de lumière étonnants.

 Si vous prenez Promenade à Boston numéro 9, le quartier de Chinatown, Downtown et du Financial District, tournez à gauche au lieu de droite quand vous arrivez à Washington St.; vous atteindrez alors Stuart St. et Bijou sera un peu plus loin sur la droite.

Open to the public in March 2019, it is made of interconnected stairs on 16 floors; its platforms overlook the skyscrapers that have also emerged in this place at about the same time, and on the Hudson River in the distance, behind the subway depot that gives its name to the place. Its particular shape has also made it compared to a M. C. Escher drawing and it's the creation of British designer Thomas Heatherwick. Its metal pieces have been built in Italy. Otherwise, you take the Charlestown Bridge back and you arrive next to North Station. Located in the Seaport District, opened a little over a year ago, it hosts the greatest specialists in international electro dance.   Monday, June 6, it was the turn of Frank Walker and Felix Cartal to be at the mixer, each with his own energy and sound.  The sound system is impressive, loud but clear; the light shows are the most elaborate of Boston; the colorful visuals projected on two adjacent walls still transform the atmosphere.  If you especially want to dance and see your favorite DJs, you will probably regret that the dance floor is small and that most of the space is composed of VIP tables. Le Temps des amours IV, 2nd ed (the time of love IV, 2nd ed) A l'orée du bois (at the wood's edge) (texte en français ci-dessous) Most of my larger prints are now on ldart.work . "A l'orée du bois", is a hand colored linocut I made in 2000, and re-printed in 2011. For the 2nd edition, I kept the same colors but less of them, and I cut the block on the left side to make it a 6x16"image instead of the 6x16.5" it was before. I wanted this print to look like some of the cave painting you see in the South West of France. "Le temps des amours IV" is also a linocut and also a second edition but this time, I didn't change anything except the paper! I created the 1st edition in 1987, and it was part of a series of four 12.5x13" linocuts with four different pairs of animals in different stages of courtship (you can see all of them on the 1984-1990 prints page ).  The paper was different because I had bought it in France i...
